Our Competitive Company is by audition starting at age 5. Auditions are typically during the week of our annual recital. Dancers who miss the first (preferred) audition may audition on the first Monday after the recital. Dancers in the Competitive Company dance between 3-10+ hours a week and are required to take ballet technique, jazz technique, and conditioning classes, as well as their weekly rehearsals for all competitive dances. Dancers interested in competing must be serious about their commitment to PDC and must be at all rehearsals throughout the season. We compete at 3-4 competitions in the Spring and travel as far as 3 hours for regional competition. We also attend a National Competition every season.
